How To Order Photographs From This Site

If you have any questions concerning photos or how to order photos, please don't hesitate to contact me using the contact info page.  I will promptly answer all inquiries.

Using the navigation buttons in the right-hand side bar, choose the sport of interest (basketball, volleyball, etc...).  A dedicated page for that sport will display, and either the thumbnail or link will take you to a page of photos.  Underneath each small image you will see a photo id number similar to this one - BB020724 - this number is required on your order blank to identify the photo you want to order.

After identifying photos that interest you, go to the photo styles page, where you will see examples of print options along with prices.  All photos may be ordered as 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, or 11x14 prints.  Some shots don't print well in certain formats, and a general guide is provided on the styles page.

A poster option is offered in 11x14 and 8x10, as well as an 11x14 photo collage.   The 8x10 and 11x14 Combo Prints feature one small individual photo and a team photo on one sheet.

When you have selected a photo ID number(s) and print style(s), choose the link to an order forms page.  You may open and print an html order form, or open and print an Adobe pdf form (may be saved to your computer for printing later).  Please complete all required information on the form, and mail it to the address on the form.  Make all checks payable to John Shupe.  An email address is requested on the order form - if possible, please provide one in case there is a question concerning your order.

You may order directly from the website with a charge card.  See the Paypal page for an explanation of how this service works.

A $5.00 charge per order will cover shipping to all U.S.A. addresses by U.S.P.S.  For non U.S.A. addresses, please inquire for specific charges before placing the order.  Virginia residents add 5 percent sales tax on mailed orders.  The shopping cart will add tax automatically for VA addresses.

The small thumbnail photos on this website are tiny, raw images and no attempt has been made to color correct them.  When a print is produced for you, it will be cropped and color corrected (as much as possible) to produce the best possible version of that image.  If an image fails quality standards, you will be contacted before it is shipped.  I won't ship a print that doesn't pass my quality standards.

Indoor photos present a special challenge, and will often have a persistent color cast.  The image will also appear somewhat 'grainier' than an outdoor shot because of the higher ISO speeds needed for indoor action photography.  Grain is more apparent in larger print sizes, but if viewed from the proper distance, it is usually not objectionable.  Photo CD's are not currently offered.
